Introducing the "STUBBORN KID" Repaired Denim a technical evolution of my reconstruction process. This 1of1 pair started with a base of vintage black Levi’s 501s Made in UK, completely deconstructed and rebuilt with a focus on high-level craftsmanship and structural complexity.
Every detail was executed to push the boundaries of modern garment construction. I utilized heavy darning techniques with thick thread in different colors to reinforce the denim, creating a complex, gridded texture that runs across the legs. To maintain the deep, original soul of the piece, I integrated high quality tonal denim underlays beneath every distressed section, ensuring color consistency while adding sophisticated depth and texture.
The standout feature is the modular "STUBBORN KID" graphic panel. It features integrated sleeve-like ties, allowing you to style it your way tied at the front, side, or back, or removed entirely to alter the silhouette. Finished with signature "heelbite" distressing at the cuffs for that perfect, intentional stack. Including a custom "DIE HARD" satin label hand-stitched into the interior.
